XLPE-insulated HT cables from 3.3 kV to 33 kV, with aluminium or copper conductors, copper screen and armour, in three-core and single-core constructions.
How buyers choose
The voltage grade matters most. On 11 kV systems, 6.35/11 kV (earthed) and 11/11 kV (unearthed) grades are not interchangeable, and the DISCOM or consultant specification decides which one is needed. Buyers then set the conductor, size (for example 3C x 240 or 3C x 300 sq mm), armour and drum lengths.
Plan drum lengths against the route so joints fall in sensible places, and order termination and joint kits with the cable so the site is not left waiting.
