How buyers choose
The single-line diagram (SLD) decides the panel count: incomer, bus coupler, outgoing feeders and the metering panel the DISCOM asks for. For each breaker we confirm the busbar rating, breaking capacity, CT and PT ratios and the relay functions in the specification. For transformers, the kVA rating, oil or dry type, losses and vector group (usually Dyn11) set the price.
Getting the DISCOM metering cubicle and relay settings right first time avoids delays at energisation.
